 Many students take advantage of our various educational progams. They are offered both short and long-term on-site accommodation.
Southport also offers unfurnished two and three bedroom housing units for those requiring permanent tenancy. The Mynarski House building features 32 single rooms with semi-private washroom facilities, and four smaller single rooms with private washrooms. Each room rental rate includes: linens, towels, colour television, clock-radio, a double bed, desk, dresser, fan and closet. Each of the two common kitchen areas include: a fridge, stove, microwave and basic cookware. Common laundry facilities are also available at no charge. Weekly maid service, free parking, cable television, and recreational memberships are offered as privelages. This building does not have air conditioning. Smoking is not allowed in an enclosed public place by the authority of the Manitoba Government, The Non-Smokers Health Protection Act # C.C.S.M. c. S125 Alcohol is prohibited from common areas. A security/damage deposit of $200.00 is also required in advance to confirm accommodation. Damage deposits will be non-refundable on rooms booked and not used. Rent is due in full upon arrival.
